<----- Students! Click here for Volcano chart ANSWERS. 3 Types of volcanoes defined!
Today we will: Rebuswhile we wait for netbooks to start up 1) sign in to wikispace and finish defining words in Earth's Crust Word Wall from yesterday (volcano vocabulary) 2) With our table groups: create a song or chant about volcanoes. This can be about a specific volcano like Mount St. Helen's, it can be about a type of volcano such as shield volcanoes, or it can be about a volcano myth, etc. ---> The song/chant has to use at least 5 volcano vocabulary words correctly! You will get a bonus mark for each extra vocabulary word used over 5. They need to make sense. 3) Perform your group's chant to the class.
If you are listening: please listen and count how many words each group included in their chant! Which group had the most words? Participation points: 10 + bonus marks for extra volcano vocabulary words used in song/chant over 5
Finished of your chant?
